  Serving as a chair for the National Panel that includes woodwinds and brass, strings, keyboard, percussion and composition colleagues.  The National Panel selects a group of finalists from more than 600 applicants nationwide for the signature YoungArts event in Miami, FL .  More than $60,000 in scholarship money in addition to national exposure and career opportunities are some of the benefits extended to the young musicians ages 15-18 through the National YoungArts Foundation.
