Fellowships recognize and reward the artistic achievements of South Carolina’s exceptional individual artists. Fellowship awards are made through a highly competitive, anonymous process and are based on artistic excellence only. Up to four fellowships in various art disciplines are awarded every year and the disciplines rotate yearly. Only one artist is recognized in any given discipline. The award in music is given approximately every three to four years, depending on a rotation cycle. Marina was named the Artist in Music Performance Discipline in July of 2015. read more…
