Marina completes her second tour of Brazil culminating with performances and masterclasses at the Bauru International Piano Festival.

August 2012 – Tour of China

Marina completes an extensive tour of China including concerts in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Jinan, Nanjing, Qingdao and Yingkou, culminating in a sold-out concert at the Shanghai City Theater.  Talk Magazine Shanghai describes her performance as “a dramatic blend of boldness and wit”.

June 2012 – SEPF Tenth Anniversary

The South Carolina House of Representatives passes a resolution honoring the Southeastern Piano Festival and Founder and Artistic Director Marina Lomazov on the Tenth Anniversary of the festival.

January 2012

Marina Lomazov is awarded the title of “Ira McKissick Koger Professor of Fine Arts” at the University of South Carolina School of Music.

Spring and Summer 2011

Marina completes a five city tour of China. Originating in Beijing and continuing through Shenyang, Yingkou, Dalian and Shanghai. She returned to China in August of 2011 to perform a closing concert and be on the faculty for the 2011 Vienna Academy of Music-Shenzhen International Summer Music Festival.
