Spring, 2014 – Update

Marina returns as National Panelist for the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts in Miami…

South Africa

Marina travels to Cape Town, South Africa to perform at the Stellenbosch International Piano Festival…

November 2013

Marina performs as Guest Artist at the Shanghai International Piano Festival and as jury member for the China National Piano Competition.

Summer 2013

Marina performed as Guest Artist at the Texas State International Piano Festival, Burgos International Music Festival in Spain and Perugia International Music Festival in Italy and as Convention Artist for the Iowa Music Teachers Association Convention.

May 2013

Marina completes her second tour of Brazil culminating with performances and masterclasses at the Bauru International Piano Festival.

August 2012 – Tour of China

Marina completes an extensive tour of China including concerts in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Jinan, Nanjing, Qingdao and Yingkou, culminating in a sold-out concert at the Shanghai City Theater.  Talk Magazine Shanghai describes her performance as “a dramatic blend of boldness and wit”.

June 2012 – SEPF Tenth Anniversary

The South Carolina House of Representatives passes a resolution honoring the Southeastern Piano Festival and Founder and Artistic Director Marina Lomazov on the Tenth Anniversary of the festival.

January 2012

Marina Lomazov is awarded the title of “Ira McKissick Koger Professor of Fine Arts” at the University of South Carolina School of Music.
