YoungArts Week
Miami, Florida
For nearly 15 years, my January started with an incredible burst of creative energy, the YoungArts week in Miami. YoungArts inspires, supports and promotes the next generation of artists and leaders in the arts, and is the only organization in the US that nominates Presidential Scholars in the Arts, from a pool of nearly 1,000 teenage applicants across 9 art disciplines. I am so honored that my association with YoungArts, as Classical Music Panelist, Chair, and now Guest Artist continues. It makes me incredibly proud to pass on the baton to my former student and protege, founder of The Concert Truck, Susan Zhang, who is currently serving as a Classical Music Panelist in Piano.
